Tourist attractions – various

Hopsten is a small idyllic community in the northernmost part of Münsterland. The border to neighbouring Emsland is only a stone's throw away from the town centre. The landscape around Hopsten is characterised by the foothills of the Teutoburg Forest, the Tecklenburg Land and the neighbouring Emsland. It is a varied mixture of hilly and flat landscape.

In the historic centre of the village you can still find the magnificent Tödden and half-timbered houses. The baroque parish church of St. George is also an eye-catcher. When visiting Hopsten, a trip to the "Heiliges Meer" nature reserve is a must.
