Nature Park House

The Biological Centre Kreis Coesfeld is known for teaching environmental topics. Here guests can discover, experience, learn and enjoy - all in a playful way. Special events are offered for different target groups, including adults, children, families, training participants, children's birthday parties, kindergartens and school classes.

The topics covered are varied and include, for example, herb walks, honey tastings, night hunts (all about bats), expert gardening advice, family expeditions into the realm of mushrooms and much more. These events are specifically tailored to the needs and interests of the respective target group and offer a unique opportunity to learn more about the environment and its interconnections.

Hohe Mark Nature Park

The Hohe Mark Nature Park is a glacial sandstone hill country. It is also one of the largest forest areas north of the Ruhr. Surprisingly close to the conurbations of North Rhine-Westphalia, it offers a variety of nature experiences on 1977.81 km². Here you can discover green nature and experience the diversity of the Hohe Mark Nature Park.

The Biological Centre Kreis Coesfeld and the Hohe Mark Nature Park entered into a cooperation in 2020. Both pursue the goal of attracting people to nature and creating an informative offer. Since then, the Biological Station has also become an official Nature Park House.
