All church and social services of the parish are united in the Otgerus-Haus. The pastoral centre houses pastoral care, social services and administration under one roof. Inaugurated in 2017, the building has group rooms, a community hall and a conference room. The rooms are available for the work of the committees, groups and clubs and associations of the parish. Preparatory meetings for First Communion or Confirmation, further training, lectures and celebrations take place here.
Information on the emergence

Before the construction of the Otgerus House (2015), the parish had the St. Otger and St. Joseph facilities and parish centres, the senior day centre and the K-Punkt. The new building that was created and inaugurated in 2017 makes it possible to use synergies of the previously independent buildings and to focus more easily on all the offers of the parish. In addition, the Otgerus-Haus meets the requirements of parish work better and in a more timely manner.

Information for cyclists
The best way to discover the area around Stadtlohn is by bicycle on various circular routes and small "Pättkes". The flat, beautiful landscape invites you to extensive cycling tours. An excursion across the nearby Dutch border is also worthwhile.
Numerous themed cycle routes offer interesting cycling tours through Münsterland. The signposted themed cycle routes each show very specific contents of the region and thus tell exciting stories about Münsterland. Stadtlohn is also connected to various themed cycle routes.

The entrance to the approx. 4500 kilometre long Münsterland cycle path network is located at the market square in the town centre of Stadtlohn and offers numerous opportunities for beautiful cycle tours in the region.

Otgerus-Haus has its own visitor parking spaces on site.
Arrival
Stadtlohn is centrally located in the district of Borken in the western Münsterland near the Dutch border. Otgerus Haus is located in the town centre near the pedestrian zone.
Arrival by car:
Arrival via the A31 Emden - Oberhausen motorway. Take the Gescher or Legden/Ahaus exit and follow the signs to Stadtlohn.
Arriving by bus and train:
The nearest train station is in Ahaus, about twelve kilometres away.
The bus line R76 offers connections from Ahaus to Stadtlohn. This bus line also provides a connection to Borken.
