nature experiences - various lake

The Hullerner Stausee (Hullern Reservoir) is used for drinking water production and is known as an idyllic excursion destination in a natural setting, especially among those seeking peace and quiet. In the immediate vicinity and connected to the Halten reservoir, the Hullerner See is a popular alternative to the usually very well visited and highly touristy destination next door. For hikers, walkers, families, walkers, etc., various circular routes with different lengths of between seven and 15 kilometres are signposted. Along the circular routes there are some, albeit fewer, rest and gastronomic stops than in Haltern. On request, the city agency/tourist information can arrange guided tours with expert guides.
