Various themed cycle routes offer interesting cycling tours through Münsterland. The signposted themed cycle routes each show very special contents of the region and thus tell exciting stories about Münsterland. Bocholt is also connected to various themed cycle routes.

Aa-Vechte Tour
Flamingo Route
Although the Dreiländersee is located in the very north-west of Münsterland, it is an important crossing point for numerous well-known cycle routes. The Flamingo Route, like the NaTourism Route, links numerous nature reserves with exceptional landscapes.
The northern course of the 100 Castles Route leads to the most beautiful buildings in the region. While the cycle routes mentioned are circular, the Aa-Vechte Route follows the small rivers from their source to their mouth.
The entrance to the Münsterland cycle path network, which is around 4,500 kilometres long, is on the south bank of the lake and offers numerous opportunities for great cycling tours in the region.

Parking
There are sufficient parking facilities for visitors at the Dreiländersee. A camper van parking lot is also available.
The parking spaces are subject to a fee.
Arrival
By car via the A 31 motorway to the Gronau/Ochtrup exit. Continue on the federal road B 54 in the direction of Gronau and leave the federal road directly at the 1st exit. Turn right and then right again at the next traffic lights. At the 2nd possibility turn left into Timpker Weg and follow the road until you reach the lake.
