Gronau is the gateway to our Dutch neighbours. Just three kilometres separate Gronau's city centre from the German-Dutch border. What could be better than a cycle tour to Enschede or one of the many small idyllic villages? But there are also wonderful landscapes and fascinating places to discover and experience in Münsterland.
Numerous themed cycle routes offer interesting cycling tours through Münsterland. The signposted themed cycle routes each show very specific contents of the region and thus tell exciting stories about Münsterland. The Bülten outdoor swimming pool is also located on a themed cycle route.
Flamingo Route
The entrance to the Münsterland cycle path network, which is approx. 4500 km long, is directly on the Dinkel river. Here in Münsterland, everyone can find a suitable cycle route.

Children/teenagers = children from 4 years and teenagers up to and including 17 years of age. Children under 4 years accompanied of an adult have free admission.
The evening ticket is available in the indoor swimming pool Di-Fr two hours before closing time, in the outdoor swimming pools Mo-Fr from 18.00 hrs.
The family ticket is valid for max. 2 adults and 3 children.
The 14-day ticket is valid for 14 days from the date of purchase.
The 30-day ticket is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.

Parking spaces
There is a large car park in front of the outdoor pool.
Arrival
The Bülten outdoor swimming pool is located on the south-eastern outskirts of Epe in the immediate vicinity of the River Dinkel and the Eper Bülten recreational area.
Arrival by car:
Arrival is via the B 54 trunk road or the A 31 motorway (exit Heek or Gronau).
The Bültenfreibad can be reached via Nienborgerstraße.
Arrival by public transport:
Epe railway station, distance approx. 2.5 kilometres.
The citizens' bus also runs (on request) from the town centre to the open-air swimming pool.
