Lengerich is located on the southern slope of the Teutoburg Forest and thus offers a unique landscape to explore. Here, cyclists encounter elevations in the otherwise flat Münsterland and can experience the special features of this beautiful region on extended tours. The historic old town of Lengerich is a perfect stopover on a cycling tour through Münsterland. Many small shops and inns are wonderful for a little shopping spree.
Unique experiences are also offered above all by the numerous themed cycle routes that wind through the beautiful landscape. The following themed routes run through Lengerich, right by the tourist information office:

Arrival
The Tourist Information is located in the Kulturtreff on Rathausplatz in the centre of Lengerich.
Getting there by car:
Lengerich is conveniently located on the A1 motorway. To reach the Römer, guests should take the "Lengerich" motorway exit.
Continue on Ibbenbürener Straße in the direction of Lengerich, keeping left. Follow the road into the centre of Lengerich.
Arrival by bus and train:
Lengerich railway station
Rail route: Osnabrück - Münster
Rail connections: RE 2 (Osnabrück - Düsseldorf), RB 66 (Osnabrück - Münster).
Distance to city centre: approx. 2.5 kilometres, about 30 minutes walk

A large public car park is located on the nearby Wielandstraße.
