Information for cyclists
The Tecklenburger Land is a very special exception in the Münsterland region: Here, cyclists encounter the foothills of the Teutoburg Forest and thus also elevations in the otherwise flat Münsterland. On the 4500 kilometre long Münsterland cycle path network, they can experience the special features of this beautiful region.
Unique experiences are offered above all by the numerous themed cycle paths that wind through the magnificent landscape. Themed cycle routes also run close to the canyon in Lengerich, providing an insight into the history and special features of the region:

The entrance to the trail is at the cemetery chapel on the Kleeberg. From here it is about 1.5 kilometres on footpaths to Canyon Lengerich.

A free car park is available at the cemetery chapel in Lengerich.
Arrival
Arriving by car:
Lengerich is conveniently located on the A1 motorway. To get to Canyon Lengerich, guests take the "Lengerich" motorway exit.
From there, continue on Ibbenbürener Straße in the direction of Lengerich, keeping to the left. Then take the first exit at the roundabout.
Drivers are now on Tecklenburger Straße K2, follow this for about two kilometres and then turn left into Mühlenweg.
Follow the road straight on until you reach the sculpture park and the cemetery chapel. This is the entrance to the hiking trail to Canyon Lengerich.

Rail connections: RE 2 (Osnabrück - Düsseldorf), RB 66 (Osnabrück - Münster).
