Alongside the town museum, the tourist information office is one of the many institutions that have been part of Forum Altes Rathaus Borken since its opening in 2020.

The staff at the tourist information office are on hand to provide holidaymakers and guests with help and advice on all aspects of their holiday. They provide support before and during their stay in Borken and give valuable tips. Information for cyclists
Borken is a wonderful travel and excursion destination, especially for cyclists, because the flat cycle paths lead in all directions around Borken. Numerous cycle paths are waiting to be ridden. There is so much to discover on them, whether on old smugglers' paths towards the Dutch border or on a cycle tour or on one of the themed routes.
Numerous themed cycle routes and circuits offer interesting cycle tours through the Münsterland. Münsterland. The signposted cycling theme routes each show very of the region and tell exciting stories about the Münsterland. Münsterland. The Tourist Information Centre in the FARB is also connected to a circular route. The following theme route leads through the beautiful landscape of Borken:
Flamingo Route
The local cycle route "Borkener Landpartie" also runs along the FARB itself. Everyone can find their next cycle tour on the approximately 4500 kilometres of the signposted Münsterland cycle path network.
The next junction with the number 61 is in the Borkener Stadtpark.

Arrival
The FARB is located in the city centre of Borken directly on the market square.
How to get there by car:
From the north/south: Arrival via the A31 (Emden - Oberhausen), exit Borken, continue on the B67 towards Borken.
From the east (Münster): Arrival via the A43 (Münster - Wuppertal), exit Dülmen, continue via B474 towards Coesfeld. Turn left after approx. 4 km and continue via L600 and B67 to Borken.
By bus/train:
Borken is on the Essen-Bottrop-Dorsten-Borken line. Borken railway station is the terminus.
Borken town centre is only a few minutes' walk away. From the station it is about 1 km to the Tourist Information.
Buses R21, R51 or R74 can be taken from the station. The nearest bus stop to the Tourist Information Borken is the bus stop "Wilbecke".
Parking
The car park on the street "Wilbecke (Wilbecke 9B) is the closest parking option. Further public, chargeable parking spaces are located in the centre of Borken. There is a pay-and-display car park on the street "Am Boltenhof".

Parking is chargeable on weekdays from 10:00-16:00.
