Information for cyclists
Rhede offers ideal conditions for cyclists: an idyllic park landscape, well-developed, flat cycle paths and the proximity to the Bocholter Aa invite you to enjoy relaxed tours. Historic farms, small watercourses and neighbouring towns such as Bocholt are easy to reach by bike.
Various signposted themed cycle paths offer interesting cycle tours through the Münsterland region.
The routes run just a few metres from the tourist information office:

Access to the routes is provided by junction 56, which is located just 250 metres from the tourist information office.
With over 4500 kilometres of junction network, even those unfamiliar with the area can easily navigate and find their way around the region's cycle paths and themed routes.

Only a few metres away there are several free parking spaces (Hamalandplatz and at the Volksbank) with limited parking time.
Arrival
The tourist information office is located on the edge of Rheder city centre. In addition to the town hall, sights such as the medicine and pharmacy museum, St Gudula's Church and Rheder Castle are all within walking distance.
Travelling by car:
Rhede can be reached via the B67 motorway (Brünen/Rhede exit)
Coming from the south: A3 motorway exit "Hamminkeln", continue via B473 towards Bocholt, exit B67 towards Rhede
Coming from the north/south: A31 motorway exit "Borken", continue on B67 towards Rhede
Travelling by bus and train:
The nearest railway stations are in Bocholt or Borken
Bus connection: S75 Bocholt - Borken/ Münster
Bus connection: R51 Bocholt - Borken/ Coesfeld
