Various cycle tours lead through Lienen and the Münsterland park landscape. The routes are integrated into the cycle route network, which makes it easy to find your way along the route.

Information for riders
In the horse-friendly municipality of Lienen, riding stables are everywhere. So it stands to reason that the municipality has its own riding route.
The Lienen riding route is 34 km long and overlaps the Münsterland riding route in large parts.
Information for hikers
Lienen is located between the Teutoburg Forest and the Münsterland. This means that hikers can experience and enjoy the perfect mix of low mountain range and parkland.

Arrival
By car:
From the A1 to the west of Lienen
From the A1, take exit 73 Lengerich and
turn right onto Südring.
Follow the road for 8 kilometres.
At the end of the road turn left onto Warendorfer Straße and immediately right again onto Lengericher Straße.
At the roundabout in Lienen, take the first exit and follow Lengericher Straße and then Diekesdamm to your destination.
From the B51 to the east of Lienen
From the B51, south of Bad Iburg, turn onto Lienener Straße.
Follow Iburger Straße for 2.5 km.
Turn right onto Holperdorper Straße and immediately left again onto Kirchplatz.
Follow the road until you reach your destination.
By public transport:
Take the RB66 train to Kattenvenne.
Then continue with bus line B4 to the Börgerstraße stop and walk 350 m to the destination.
