Information for cyclists
Telgte is a charming town in the middle of the Münsterland park landscape and its central location in the region offers perfect conditions for cyclists.
From Telgte, wonderful excursion destinations can be reached, such as the historic old town of Warendorf or the magnificent Rieselfelder fields and Prinzipalmarkt in Münster via the EmsRadweg. The EmsRadweg is one of numerous themed cycle paths that wind through Münsterland and connect the most beautiful places.

Parking
There are no parking spaces available at the Tourist Info. The nearest parking spaces are at Knickenbergplatz, Emstor or Antoniusstraße. The walk takes about 5-10 minutes.
Arrival
Telgte is about 14 kilometres east of Münster. The tourist information office is located on the market square in the historic old town.
Getting there by car:
Telgte can be reached by car via the A1 (Cologne - Bremen) or the A43 (Wuppertal - Münster). From Münster it is about twelve kilometres on the B51 towards Telgte.
It is not possible to travel directly by car, as the tourist information office is located in the pedestrian zone of the town centre.
Arriving by bus and train:
Telgte lies on the Münster - Rheda-Wiedenbrück railway line. From the railway station in Telgte it is about a ten-minute walk to the historic old town.
Lines R11 and R13 run from Münster's main railway station to Telgte town centre. The journey takes about 30 minutes.
