Museum/Exhibition

A trip to the Ibbenbüren Motorbike Museum is a journey through over a century of two-wheeled history. In a historic school building, more than 180 exhibits impressively present the technical development from the penny-farthing of 1882 to the Paris-Dakar rally machine. Rare pre-war models, classics from the 1950s and unique collector's items such as the "Diel" from 1927 with a water-cooled engine demonstrate the diversity of the motorbike. The exhibition is complemented by engines, historical clothing and informative cutaway models. The presentation impresses with its depth of detail - and photography is expressly permitted.
