Information for cyclists
Bocholt's location alone makes it a wonderful destination for cyclists. Small rivers such as the Issel or Bocholter Aa meander through the landscape and are surrounded by beautiful nature. Imposing castles in Isselburg and Raesfeld are within easy reach and the Rhine and our Dutch neighbours are not far away either. The possibilities are manifold.
Various themed cycle routes offer interesting cycling tours through the Münsterland. The signposted themed cycle routes each show very special contents of the region and thus tell exciting stories about Münsterland. Bocholt is also connected to various themed cycle routes.
