Gempt Generation Park

Information for cyclists
The Tecklenburger Land is a very special exception in the Münsterland region, where cyclists encounter the foothills of the Teutoburg Forest and thus also elevations in the otherwise flat Münsterland. On the 4500 kilometre long Münsterland cycle path network, they can experience the special features of this beautiful region.
The numerous themed cycle paths that wind through the beautiful landscape offer unique experiences. During a stopover, you can enjoy a piece of industrial culture at the Gempthalle and take a break in the adjacent Gempt Generation Park. The following themed routes run along the Generationenpark:

The entrance to the cycle path network is in Münsterstraße.

Arrival
Arriving by car:
Lengerich is conveniently located on the A1 motorway. To reach the Gempt Generation Park, visitors should take the "Lengerich" motorway exit.
Follow the Ibbenbürener Straße and the Südring for about 1.8 kilometres in the direction of Lengerich. Turn left onto Aldruper Damm.
After approx. 400 metres, turn right into Wüstenei. After approx. 400 metres turn into Bodelschwinghstraße, then take the first exit at the roundabout.
At the next roundabout, take the third exit, then follow Münsterstraße for about 250 metres. The Gempt Generation Park is on the right-hand side.
Arrival by train:
Lengerich railway station
Rail route: Osnabrück - Münster
Rail connections: RE 2 (Osnabrück - Düsseldorf), RB 66 (Osnabrück - Münster).
Distance to Gempt Generation Park: approx. 2.5 kilometres, about 30 minutes' walk.
Parking
There is a large car park right next to the Gempthalle.
