Information for cyclists
Lengerich is located on the southern slope of the Teutoburg Forest and thus offers a unique landscape to explore. Here, cyclists encounter elevations in the otherwise flat Münsterland and can experience the special features of this beautiful region on extended tours. The historic old town of Lengerich is a perfect stopover on a cycling tour through Münsterland. Many small shops and inns are wonderful for a little shopping spree.
Unique experiences are also offered above all by the numerous themed cycle paths that wind through the beautiful landscape. The signposted themed cycle routes each show very special contents of the region and thus tell exciting stories about Münsterland. The following themed routes run through Lengerich, near the cemetery chapel:
100 Castles Route, North Route
Peace Route
NaTourism Route Tecklenburger Land
On the 4500-kilometre Münsterland cycle route network, cyclists can experience the special features of this beautiful region. Everyone will find a suitable cycle route here.
