The Brückenhof, which is located in a half-timbered house in the Rhenish-Franconian style, always attracts people with its interesting special exhibition regarding the local and regional history and its cultural exhibitions, when they are on their way coming from the “wine hiking trail”, the lookout point Hülle or through the Mühlental (mill valley) from the Kloster Heisterbach (monastery Heisterbach).
The permanent exhibition displays a demontrative half-timbering with old and new timberwork, a historical kitchen and a shoemaker's workshop, collections of the stonecutter's, stone-pit's and joiner's handicarft, a presentation of the mountain railway of Heisterbach and more than 300 old and new group photographs.
