Schadow-Arkaden

An apparently floating glass cylinder on a shiny granite facade. The exterior view of the Schadow arcades is already enchanting, but the interior is the main attraction of this large shopping arcade.

The arcades are just a stone's throw away from Königsallee in the eponymous Schadowstrasse. More than 50 retailers of all shapes and sizes await their customers in the passages of this spacious building. As everywhere else, variety is the spice of life. You can stroll from high street labels such as H&M and Zara to the exclusive Swiss chocolate manufacturer, from men's fashion outfitters to lingerie boutiques and on to perfume stores. What about an ice cream? A coffee? An exotic dinner? You can have whatever you like under the shelter of the imposing atrium. Two options in the arcades then unfold for the rest of the evening: Enthusiastic athletes go to the gym, while pleasure seekers flock to the Theater an der Kö, Düsseldorf's famous boulevard theatre.
