In an inconspicuous backyard on the Birkenstrasse in Flingern, a former industrial wasteland, a Düsseldorf art treasure is hidden: A 1,700 square metre private museum with impressive architecture.

The art collector Gil Bronner allows his collected works to be presented here with ceilings up to nine metres high. In two decades he has bought 1,300 works - the spectrum ranges from local young talent to internationally established artists. The rotating presentation of the collections is supplemented by temporary exhibitions. In addition, there are concerts, readings or lectures. Do not miss: There is a sculpture terrace on the roof of the building.
