Historic Market Place Warendorf

Magnificent town houses, old half-timbered houses, winding alleys and the close proximity to the Ems river. The historic market square of Warendorf.

The market square forms the centre of Warendorf's historic town centre. Magnificent town houses, old half-timbered houses, winding alleys and the close proximity to the River Ems - it is not for nothing that the historic town centre of the former Hanseatic town is particularly popular with visitors.

Today, the market square is an impressive mixture of old and new, historic and modern. It is precisely these elements from different eras that give the market square in Warendorf's town centre a very special atmosphere. The historic town hall on the market square is particularly worth seeing; it belongs to the decentralised town museum and can be visited.
