Lego Bridge 2.0 – more colour for the valley

After the 2011 Lego Bridge on Schwesterstraße became such a huge success, street artist Martin Heuwold (MEGX) designed a second Lego Bridge in the east of the city in the summer of 2020: the Lego Bridge 2.0 is also known as the Rainbow Bridge. Unlike the first bridge which is painted in primary colours, Heuwold used the broad colour palette of the rainbow for the second bridge. More than just being colourful, it is a symbol of openness and diversity.
The Rainbow Bridge spans the B7/Dahler Straße in Wuppertal-Langerfeld. The bridge is part of the Schwarzbachtrasse, an extension of the Nordbahntrasse footpath and cycle path.
