Dino Zoo Metelen

Information for cyclists
Metelen is located in the Steinfurter Land, in the middle of the Münsterland park landscape surrounded by forests, meadows and small streams. Cycling tours along the Vechte river, to the Strönfeld nature reserve or to the Metelener Heide are particularly popular with cyclists. The Dino Zoo is located in the middle of the Metelener Heide. The amusement park is a popular stopover on a cycle tour, especially for families.
Numerous themed cycle routes offer interesting cycling tours through Münsterland. The signposted themed cycle routes each show special content of the region and thus tell exciting stories about Münsterland. A themed cycle route also runs along the Dino Zoo:
100 Castles Route, North Course
The entrance to the Münsterland cycle path network, which is around 4,500 kilometres long, is directly at the leisure park.

Arrival
Metelen is located in the district of Steinfurt between Heek and Steinfurt, embedded in the Münsterland park landscape. The Dino Zoo is located about three kilometres from the town centre in the Metelener Heide.
Getting there by car:
Dino Zoo Metelen is located on the B70 trunk road.
There are connections to the A31 motorway (Emden - Bottrop), the B54 trunk road (Gronau - Münster) and the A30 motorway (Rheine - Bad Oeynhausen).
Arrival by bus and train:
Metelen Land" railway station, railway line: Münster - Enschede.
Distance to Dino Zoo is approx. one kilometre
Bus line 171 Metelen-Steinfurt, connection to railway station "Metelen Land", from there further on foot to Dino Zoo.
Parking
There is a large car park available for visitors at Dino Zoo. The car park is located on Vogelparkstraße.
