Information for cyclists
Gronau is the gateway to our Dutch neighbours. Just three kilometres separate Gronau's city centre from the German-Dutch border. What could be better than a cycle tour to Enschede or one of the many small idyllic villages? But there are also wonderful landscapes and fascinating places to discover and experience in Münsterland.
Numerous themed cycle routes offer interesting cycling tours through Münsterland. The signposted themed cycle routes each show very specific contents of the region and thus tell exciting stories about Münsterland. The city park is also connected to a themed cycle route.
Flamingo Route
The entrance to the Münsterland cycle path network, which is approx. 4500 km long, is located on the Dinkel at the western edge of the Stadtpark. Here in Münsterland, everyone can find a suitable cycle route.
