The charming farmer's museum tells the story of life in the Eifel at the turn of the century.
The charming farmer's museum was set up in 1984 by the Association for Local History and Village Culture Lammersdorf e.V. as an extracurricular educational facility and is still present in the form of the museum today.
At that time, in less than a year, an exhibition area with approx. 2000 exhibits was built in an old, vacant farmhouse, which can be described as the local museum of the “Monschauer Land”. The visitor gains an insight into the life of the Eifel population at the turn of the century.
The exhibits testify to the harmonious but also arduous way of life of the Eifel ancestors.
The museum gives visitors the impression that the residents are not in the house at the moment, as a result of the special feature that there are no barriers or showcases in the exhibition.
In the spacious outdoor area, the restored large appliances can be admired and the pretty herb garden rounds off the cozy ambience.

Note on barrier-free access
As the farm museum is an old house, it is unfortunately not barrier-free and is only accessible to a limited extent for people with reduced mobility and wheelchair users!
