The collaborative project "VIA Erlebnisraum Römerstraße | Agrippastraße – Via Belgica" makes the former Roman state roads in the Rhineland "experiencable" again on a cycling and hiking route. Excavations and reconstructions make the road construction art of the Romans visible and tangible.

The guild house in Blankenheim shines in new splendor and with a new exhibition. The former local history museum has been transformed into an information center about the history of the Romans and their impact in Blankenheim and the Nordeifel.
The exhibition focuses on the history of the Roman villa – a country estate with a history of use from the 1st to the 4th century AD – and its modern reconstruction, linked with questions of economic usage during Roman times, archaeological findings, and the legacy of Roman antiquity in the collections of the Counts of Manderscheid-Blankenheim. Visitors embark on a quest to uncover Blankenheim's Roman past, which simultaneously sharpens the perspective on researching, collecting, and preserving historical legacies for the future.
Entry to the Eifel Museum and the guild house is free on all opening days.
