In the Zülpich Lake Park, you will find the only climbing and zip line park of its kind in the tri-city area of Cologne-Bonn-Aachen. Fly freely like a bird at speeds of up to 40 kilometers per hour over the Zülpich water sports lake and enjoy the view as you climb, extending all the way to the Eifel. Who wants to reach great heights, swing through the treetops and glide over the lake? Then you're exactly right here in the Flying Fox Park in Zülpich. Free as a bird, both big and small can fly at speeds of up to 40 kilometers per hour over the Lake Park Zülpich and the water sports lake. The starting and ending point is the sandy beach in Lake Park Zülpich. Here begins your tour of about 40 minutes. The highlight is the finale: a thrilling 126 meters as you rush over the water back to the starting point. The course takes you from the beach through the wooded area around the Indemann, along the lake path at the zigzag path, and then over the water back to the beach.
The Flying Fox courses:
- Introductory course: 3 meters high and 24 meters long – difficulty easy.
- Course “Lake View”: with an altitude of 5-8 meters and a length of 405 meters. Duration 30 – 40 minutes. Difficulty easy to medium.
- Course “Eifel View”: at a height of 8-12 meters and a length of 410 meters. Duration 30 – 40 minutes. Difficulty medium.
