The 27-hectare Kronenburger Lake is designed as a recreational body of water for sailors, surfers, anglers, and swimmers.
Large recreational area: children's playground, volleyball court, fitness equipment, kiosk, campsite, youth camping area, beaver camp with self-catering houses, holiday park, boat rental, surf and sailing school.
Parking fee 4.00€/day/vehicle, a corresponding parking ticket must be obtained from the parking ticket machine.
Established as a recreational body of water in 1973/77, the lake also serves as a rainwater retention basin for the floodwaters of the Kyll and Taubkyll.
Tip for a vacation with a dog:
The Kronenburger Lake offers enough space for dog owners and their dogs. Although there is a leash requirement at the lake, it is still wonderful to fetch sticks and swim with a long leash. In the specially designated and marked dog prohibition zone, walking dogs is not permitted.
