Flying high in the Kletterwald Ibbenbüren - located directly at the Aasee, the climbing wall offers lots of fun for young and old.

Climb high in the Kletterwald Ibbenbüren! Swings, net bridges, surfboards - almost 150 climbing elements are waiting to be conquered and guarantee fun and adventure. Beginners and climbing professionals alike will get their money's worth on 13 different courses at heights of up to 14 metres. The particularly brave also dare to take a Tarzan leap from the treetops.

Information for cyclists
Ibbenbüren offers excellent conditions for cyclists. Centrally located in the Tecklenburger Land region, there are numerous opportunities to explore the surrounding area from here.
South of Ibbenbüren, cyclists encounter the foothills of the Teutoburg Forest. The hilly landscape with its rich forests offers wonderful distant views over the Münsterland region time and again. Popular destinations are the Bentlage Monastery in Rheine or the Gravenhorst Monastery in Hörstel. The historic old towns of Tecklenburg and Lengerich are also well worth a visit and offer an exciting cultural programme. Those who prefer a more relaxed approach can use the wonderful cycle paths along the Dortmund-Ems or Mittelland Canal.
Various themed cycle routes offer interesting cycling tours through Münsterland. The signposted themed cycle routes each show very special features of the region and thus tell exciting stories about Münsterland.

Parking
There is a large car park at the Kletterwald.
Arrival
The climbing forest is located near the north shore of Lake Aasee on Ledder Straße.
Arrival by car:
Via the A30 motorway (Amsterdam-Osnabrück) to the Ibbenbüren 11b exit. The A30 provides connections to the A31, A33, A1 and A2 motorways.
Follow Münsterstraße in the direction of the town centre and after about two kilometres turn right into Ledder Straße.
The kletterwald is on the left after 1.5 kilometres.
Arriving by train:
The Kletterwald is about a two-kilometre walk from Ibbenbüren railway station.
There are regular trains to the station from Hengelo, Braunschweig, Bielefeld and Rheine.
Bus line 234 runs from Ibbenbüren station to the "Ibbenbüren Sportzentrum" bus stop, from here it is only a 200-metre walk to the climbing forest.
