Get your circulation going and set off on a Kneipp walking tour. In the Schieder forest, follow the signs to the Kneipp treading pool in Alt-Schieder. From the Schieder cemetery parking lot, follow the X5 hiking trail in the direction of Ehrenhain. On a hot weekend, the treading pool, which is constantly fed with fresh water from the Schweibach stream, is just the thing. If you want to take a break between the first and second round, simply continue to the next treading pool in Schieder Castle Park. There is also a Kneipp treading pool in Schwalenberg. Idyllically situated, right next to a children's playground and in the immediate vicinity of the barbecue hut and duck pond, this destination is particularly suitable for families.
