Information for cyclists
Numerous themed cycle routes offer interesting cycling tours through Münsterland. The signposted themed cycle paths each show very specific contents of the region and thus tell exciting stories about Münsterland. The wild horse track in Dülmen is also close to various themed cycle routes.

The entrance to the approx. 4500 kilometre long Münsterland cycle route network is at the Wildpferdebahn car park. The picnic area is the perfect place for an extended break on a cycle tour through the region.

Arrival
Arrival by car:
Arrival via the A43 motorway (Münster - Recklinghausen), exit "Dülmen" and continue via B474 and L600 towards Reken. Visitors drive through the small town of Merfeld, continuing on the L600. After about four kilometres, the access road to the wild horse track is on the left-hand side.
Arriving via the A31 motorway (Emden - Oberhausen), exit "Borken", continue towards Dülmen via the B67 and L600. Travellers follow the L600 for about 2.5 kilometres, the entrance to the wild horse track is on the right-hand side.
Arrival by train:
Dülmen railway station (Münster - Haltern am See line), distance to the wild horse track about 14 kilometres, journey time by bike about 40 minutes.
Maria Veen railway station (Dorsten - Coesfeld), distance to the wild horse track approx. 3.5 kilometres, walking time approx. 40 minutes
Parking
A car park for visitors is located at the wild horse track.

The season starts between March and April. The stated start date is for orientation purposes only.
The opening hours also apply on public holidays in NRW.
Dogs are allowed on a leash. Dogs are not allowed on guided tours.
