Castle Eicks is privately owned and not accessible.
Schloss Eicks has been a fortified feudal estate since the 14th century. The castle, built in 1690, is a standard type of a Rhenish noble residence: a two-part water castle with a towered, three-winged outer bailey and a separate manor house. The outer bailey from the 17th century is essentially preserved in its original state and was originally stuccoed. The gate passage with the alliance coat of arms Syberg/Palandt is simply designed. The drawbridge has been replaced by a masonry arch bridge. The large gate of the outer bailey is open when the owners are present. The complex can be easily viewed from the road. Driving around the castle provides a lovely view of the Baroque garden.
