Information for cyclists
The Amtsvenn is a wonderful stopover on a cycling tour between Gronau and Ahaus and should not be missed on a visit to the area. The circular routes themselves are not intended for cyclists, but it is always worth getting off your bike and experiencing the nature reserve on foot.
Various themed cycle routes offer interesting cycling tours through the Münsterland. The signposted themed cycle routes each show very special contents of the region and thus tell exciting stories about Münsterland. The Amtsvenn is also connected to such a themed cycle route.
Flamingo Route
The entrance to the Münsterland cycle path network, which is around 4500 kilometres long, is at the Birkhanhweg and offers numerous opportunities for great cycle tours in the region.
