Stadttheater Minden

The Stadttheater Minden is a rank theatre in the East Westphalian town of Minden in the Minden-Lübbecke district.
The theatre was built between 1906 and 1908 in a neo-baroque style. The theatre has 528 seats. It serves as a venue for touring theatre and is also used as a concert hall.

Although the theatre does not have its own ensemble, it regularly puts on excellent in-house productions and co-productions and performs them with great success. The municipal theatre has many offers that make the theatre experience even more appealing to the audience. For example, there are 11 subscription programmes and a great variety of special events, including music and cabaret. An important focus is also on theatre for children and young people. The comprehensively demanding and special programme makes the Minden Municipal Theatre so unique and has sharpened its very own profile in the field of German municipal theatres.
