Münster is not called the "cycling capital" for nothing. Both locals and visitors enthusiastically conquer the city by bike. Münster offers a colourful mix of nature, history and urban lifestyle.
Various themed cycle routes offer interesting cycling tours through Münsterland. The signposted themed cycle routes each show very special features of the region and thus tell exciting stories about Münsterland. Numerous themed cycle routes run through the centre of Münster.

The entrance to the 4500-kilometre Münsterland cycle route network is on the Promenade, the green belt around the historic old town. The Kuhviertel (cow district) borders directly on the promenade and is therefore perfect for a stopover on a cycle tour.

Arrival
By bus and train to Prinzipalmarkt:
It takes about 30 minutes to walk from the station to the Kuhviertel. Leave the station in the direction of the city centre and follow the signs to Domplatz and Liebfrauen-/Überwasserkirche.
Bus lines 1, 9, 11 as well as 12,13, 14 and 22 go from the station to the "Domplatz" stop.
From Domplatz it is not far to the Kuhviertel.
By car to Domplatz:
Coming from the south and north: Leave the A1 motorway at the Münster/Nord (77) junction and take the B54 towards Münster. Follow the signs towards Domplatz.
Coming from the east: Take the Bundesstraße 51 in the direction of Münster. In the city centre, follow the signs towards Domplatz.
Coming from the west: Follow the A43 motorway in the direction of Münster, which automatically becomes Weseler Straße. In the city centre, follow the signs to Domplatz or the theatre.
There are large public parking areas at Domplatz and at the theatre. From here it is only a few minutes' walk to the Kuhviertel.

Large public car parks are located on Domplatz, at the theatre or on Schlossplatz.
