Information for cyclists
Münster is not called the "cycling capital" for nothing. Locals and visitors alike enthusiastically conquer this beautiful city by bike. Large bike stations in the city centre make it easy to store your bike.
The "Promenade" runs around the old town centre with its network of cycle paths. This unique cycle path not only allows you to quickly reach all the places and sights in the old town centre. The promenade also offers connections to numerous interesting themed routes.

On the Münsterland cycle path network, which is around 4500 kilometres long, everyone will find the right cycle tour. The Kieperkerlviertel is perfect for a stopover.

There are several parking facilities around the historic old town of Münster.
Arrival
Arrival by bus and train:
The walk from the station to the Kiepenkerlviertel takes about 30 minutes. Leave the station in the direction of the city centre and follow the signs to Prinzipalmarkt/ Drubbel.
From the station, take bus lines 5, 15 and 16 to the "Tibusstraße" stop. From here it is only a few metres to the Kiepenkerlviertel.
Bus lines 1 and 9 also leave from the station in the direction of Prinzipalmarkt, bus stop "Prinzipalmarkt". From here it is about 250 metres to the Kiepenkerlviertel via the Drubbel.
Arriving by car:
Coming from the south and north: leave the A1 motorway at the Münster/Nord junction (77) and take the B54 towards Münster.
Coming from the east: Use the Bundesstraße 51 in the direction of Münster for your journey.
Coming from the west: Follow the A43 motorway in the direction of Münster, this automatically turns into Weseler Straße.
In the city centre, follow the signs to Prinzipalmarkt or Domplatz. From here it is only a few minutes' walk to the Kiepenkerlviertel.
