How to get to Borbeck Castle:

By car:
Take the A 40 motorway (exit no. 18 "Mülheim-Winkhausen / Essen Borbeck") onto "Aktienstraße" in the direction of Essen-Borbeck and follow it to the end of the road; then turn right along "Frintroper Straße" (B231 in the direction of Essen); here take the first left into "Fürstenbergstraße"; at the end of this street turn left into "Schloßstraße". Free parking is available along Schloßstraße.
If you want to drop people off directly at the castle, you can stop just before the castle, but not park, as this is a fire station.
There is a designated disabled parking space in front of the farm building.

By public transport:
Take the DB lines S 9 and RE14 to "Essen-Borbeck" station, then take bus line 140 to the "Schloß Borbeck" stop (directly at the castle) or tram line 103 to the "Schloß Borbeck" stop (approx. 5 min. walk).
Line 103 already runs from the "Rathaus" stop in Essen city centre.
