Museum/Exhibition

Do you already know the attraction in Hagen-Haspe? In addition to the factory outlet and a modern bistro, the BRANDT Museum can also be found in the listed "Haus Stennert". In ten rooms you can learn exciting and historical facts about the rusk. In addition, the Brandt factories are presented and the founding family is introduced. History and the present to touch - even for the little ones. They are guided through the exhibition at eye level by Zwack, the rusk man: from the founder's room to the rusk production with a steaming oven to the huge, walk-in Brandt brand rusk box;

Brandt's little rusk world" offers crunchy fans of all ages the opportunity to learn more about rusks on more than 200 m². In words, pictures and with interactive elements, the historical facts and the individual production stages from dough preparation to fermentation to the roasting oven are brought to life. In addition, visitors embark on a journey through the 100-year history of the Brandt company and may even meet old acquaintances again. For it is not only the current and probably most famous Brandt child who smiles at rusk lovers. The three older siblings who filled the brand with life from 1929 to 1983 are also worthily represented. In addition, Brandt provides an insight into the everyday office life of the company founder Carl Brandt in the so-called "Founder's Room", which has been recreated with the original furniture. In addition, tins and packaging from several decades, some interesting production details such as baking moulds and, of course, all the advertising spots from the brand's history are on display.

In addition, the exhibition offers a look beyond rusk production into the other business areas of the Brandt Group. In addition to rusks, the company also produces chocolate, crispbread and snack items.
The cosy bistro invites visitors to linger. Here, the diverse impressions and information can be processed over a cup of coffee and delicious snacks. The tour finally ends in the rusk shop, which gives the direct bar sales a worthy home. In a customer-friendly atmosphere, guests can purchase crispy and iconic products. The shop offers the entire product range as well as everything for brand fans. From Brandt bags and key rings to the trendy Brandt shirt, no wish is left unfulfilled here.
