Fredenbaumpark

The Fredenbaumpark in the north of the city, with an area of around 63 hectares, is fondly referred to as the "green lung" and is a popular recreation area for families with children. 

Various events take place throughout the year, there are sports facilities such as table tennis, mini-golf, boules or jogging and a beautiful beer garden in the countryside (Schmiedingslust restaurant). Children can have fun on the playgrounds, with the whole family on a pedal boat or in the "Big Tipi" adventure world. The inline skating circuit also promises exercise and fun. Visitors can relax and enjoy the sun on the meadows and benches.
