Sports hall/sports stadium/sports field Football pitch

The Dortmund football stadium on Strobelallee, now called Signal Iduna Park, was opened on 2 April 1974 for a friendly match against Schalke 04 with 54,000 visitors.

Today, 81,365 fans can fit into the BVB Stadium, making it Germany's largest football stadium. In addition, the Dortmund "temple" has the largest standing room grandstand in Europe with the infamous Yellow Wall - and probably the best choreographies of the Borussia fans for their team. On a guided tour of the stadium, visitors can experience the stadium in a completely different way.
