Ahaus railway station is about 1 km from the market square. The double-track station is regularly served by regional trains from Dortmund and Enschede (NL). The bus station of Ahaus is located directly in front of the station with numerous connections to the various districts and neighbouring communities.

The fastest bus connection to Münster is the S70 express bus.

Ahaus railway station is connected to the Münsterland cycle path network, which is over 4,500 km long, via a cycle path. The entrance near the castle is approx. 800 m away. Junction 86 is about 2 km away.

Arrival
Arrival by car is via the A 31 motorway (Oberhausen-Emden). At the Legden/Ahaus exit, follow the signs to Ahaus until you reach the town centre. Follow the signs to the railway station.
