The Üdersdorfer Drees is located directly on the Lieserpfad - a source of refreshment along the way.

The Üdersdorfer Drees next to the Lieserufer, located directly on the Lieserpfad, has been an additional source of water for the villagers since the Second World War. At that time, the water was drawn from there to bake buckwheat pancakes at home, called "Heedeleschkoochen".

The spring was first tapped before the Second World War. The carbonated mineral water was also popular as a refreshing drink during the hay harvest in the surrounding meadows. The bubbling water ripples out of the socket at a temperature of about 10 degrees.

You can find more information in the brochure: "Dreese - Mineral Water and Carbonic Acid Springs of the Volcanic Eifel" or here.
