PHOENIX
DES LUMIÈRES

A place steeped in history

Phoenix des Lumières is originally a former puddling and rolling mill of the city of Dortmund. Culturespaces aims to bring this place back to life by creating a major centre for digital art that will host major immersive exhibitions.
The unique architecture of the buildings serves as a backdrop to showcase the works of the most famous artists* in the history of art and provide a unique immersive experience.
Phoenix des Lumières opened its doors to the public on January 28 2023 with the exhibitions Gustav Klimt, Gold and Colour and Hundertwasser, in the footsteps of the Vienna Secession
.
