Waters lake

Lake Himberg is located in the district of Aegidienberg / Rottbitze.

Himberger See is a quarry pond that was created in the course of basalt quarrying. Today, the lake is a popular destination for local recreation and is used as a bathing lake in the summer months. It lies idyllically embedded in a wooded area and has a small sunbathing lawn as well as a few moorings distributed around the lake.
