A touch of jungle in the forest rescuer trail | Waldretter-Trail

Cool, humid air, colossal beeches that cast long shadows, a dense canopy and you are very small in the middle. On this trail you can feel what makes an old beech forest and experience this wonderful ecosystem. The experience is even more intense with the knowledge that this rustic forest can develop freely without human intervention. Through the primeval forest project, in which everyone can participate, Wohlleben's forest academy has contractually protected the old beech forests around Wershofen for the next 50 years, paving the way for the primeval forest of tomorrow.
