The open Innogy bookcase at Holter Kirchplatz opens the doors to fantasy worlds through bartering: anyone can take books out or put them in the bookcase at any time. Read what others find worth reading and make it accessible to the public!

The principle is simple: two book sponsors ensure that there is a good selection of books for children and adults.

At any time of the day or night, anyone can take out books and put them or other books back in the cupboard. A bartering system that might even whet the appetite of those who don't like reading.

Together with the two book sponsors Ulrike Böhne and Helga Tiemann from the open all-day school at Grauthoffschule, the city opened the bookcase sponsored by RWE.

The bookcase is located on Holter Kirchplatz near the ice cream parlor. Take a seat on the bench or make yourself comfortable at home and browse through as yet unknown fantasy worlds!
