Information for cyclists
The Podium Bridge in Bocholt is a very good starting point for cycling tours through the western Münsterland. Along the Bocholter Aa, the cycle path leads without ascents past the Pröbstingsee lake to the district town of Borken. Along the Bocholter Aa, the cycle path also leads into Bocholt city centre.
The western route of the 100 castles route and the Hohe Mark cycle route run directly on the bridge and invite you to take extended cycle tours lasting several days.

Information for hikers
From the podium bridge in the Kulturquartier Bocholt it is only a few metres to the Aasee. A beautiful circular path leads around the lake, offering ever new views of the lake and its surroundings. The approx. 3 km long circular route can be extended by a detour to the Hohenhorster Berge.

Parking
From the museum car park at the weaving mill, Uhlandstraße 50, it is only a few minutes' walk to the Podium Bridge.
The Bocholt caravan park is also in the immediate vicinity.
Arrival
By car via federal road 67 (Isselburg-Dülmen) to the Aasee exit. Take the 3rd exit at the roundabout and the 1st exit at the next roundabout. After approx. 750 m, turn right onto Uhlandstraße.
