Maiwiese

The "Maiwiese" town park is Engers' green lung and a place for young and old to spend time.

In the Maiwiese, families will find a water playground adjoined by a meadow with exercise equipment and soccer goals.
A boules court is also located at this end of the Maiwiese, near Mühlenstraße.
 
The Maiwiese is pleasantly shaded by large trees and offers a pleasant climate even in midsummer. In summer, it is the venue for "Sport in the Park" and the citizens' picnic, where several hundred visitors always come together to enjoy a feast in the open air.
