Information for cyclists
The Münsterland is an ideal travel and excursion destination for cyclists due to its 4,500 km long and well-signposted network of cycle paths. Borken, located in the lowlands, is also connected to this network. Various cycling and themed routes and smuggler's trails to the neighbouring Netherlands invite you to discover exciting things to see and do.
The car park at the Mergelsberg sports hall is also connected to this network of cycle paths. Approx. 500 metres away in the Borken city park is the nearest junction with the number 61, where the themed route "Flamingo Route" runs.
