Information for cyclists
Münsterland has a 4,500-long well-signposted network of cycle paths and is therefore an ideal travel and excursion destination for cyclists. Borken, located in the lowlands, is also connected to this network. Various cycling and themed routes and smuggler's trails to the neighbouring Netherlands invite you to discover exciting things to see and do.
Stauden Stade is also connected to the Münsterland cycle path network.

Stauden Stade is located in Borken-Marbeck, which is in the western Münsterland region.
By car:
via the A31 (Oberhausen-Emden), exit Borken, travel time approx. 30 minutes
via the A3 (Cologne-Arnheim), exit Hamminkeln, driving time approx. 30 minutes)
By rail:
Borken is on the RE14 railway line (Essen-Bottrop-Dorsten-Borken). From Essen main station the journey time is approx. 1 hour.
Get off at Marbeck-Heiden station.
From there it is a 2.5 km walk (approx. 34 minutes) to Stauden Stade.
By bus:
From Borken railway station, take bus line B9 of BürgerBus Borken e.V. to Marbeck.
Get off at the "Steverding" stop.
From there it is a 2-minute walk.
Parking
Parking is available free of charge at the perennial nursery.
