The foundation stone for the church of St. Mauritius in Nordkirchen was laid in 1715, and with its red brick tower and slate dome, the church still characterises the townscape today.

Inside, you can admire the high altar crucifix, the baptismal font and the artistically designed west windows.

Journey
By car via the A1 (Bremen-Dortmund) at the Ascheberg exit, follow the signs towards Nordkirchen or via the A52 (Gladbeck-Haltern am See) towards Lüdinghausen and then follow the signs towards Nordkirchen. The nearest railway station is in the district of Nordkirchen-Capelle.

Parking
The car park at Nordkirchen Castle is ideal. The church is approx. 450 metres away.
